Megha Agarwal, General Manager–Business at Meesho, has resigned from the ecommerce marketplace, according to a stock exchange filing. Her resignation was tendered on January 7, 2026.
Agarwal, who reported directly to Meesho founder and CEO Vidit Aatrey, joined the Bengaluru-based company in 2019. She was elevated to lead Meesho’s growth function in 2022 and took over as General Manager–Business in 2023 after the exit of Utkrishta Kumar. In her role, she headed the category management function and was designated as a senior management personnel.
This marks the first senior-level departure from Meesho since its stock market debut in December 2025.
Following the announcement, Meesho’s shares closed 5% lower at ₹173.20 on the BSE on Wednesday.
Meesho listed on December 10 after raising ₹5,421 crore through its initial public offering. The company reported operating revenues of ₹5,577 crore in the first half of FY26, up from ₹4,311 crore in the same period last year. Its net loss during this period narrowed significantly to ₹700 crore from ₹2,512 crore a year earlier.
For FY25, Meesho’s operating revenue rose 23% year-on-year to ₹9,390 crore. However, the company posted a net loss of ₹3,942 crore, largely due to a one-time tax impact related to shifting its corporate domicile from the US to India.
