CEO: TCS AI push yielding noticeable effects
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strong focus on becoming the world’s largest AI-led technology services company. In a New Year message to employees, CEO K Krithivasan said that global companies are now shifting their investments from traditional digital transformation to artificial intelligence (AI). He added that many enterprises want to become AI-first and are focusing on real business results.
TCS has already seen positive results from its AI strategy. The company has reached $1.5 billion in annual AI services revenue. Out of its top 60 clients, 54 have selected TCS for their AI transformation projects. TCS has completed more than 5,000 AI projects and deployed over 200 AI platforms worldwide.
To support this growth, TCS has invested heavily in AI talent and infrastructure. All sales and pre-sales employees are now trained in AI, and around 180,000 employees have developed advanced AI skills.
