Ola Electric initiates the #EndICEAge campaign to hasten the adoption of EVs
Ola Electric on Saturday launched a nationwide campaign called #EndICEAge aimed at accelerating India’s transition away from petrol-powered two-wheelers toward electric mobility.
The campaign targets internal combustion engine vehicles and highlights the rising cost and inconvenience of relying on petrol. Through the #EndICEAge initiative, the company said it wants to encourage riders across the country to move away from petrol vehicles and adopt electric mobility solutions.
As part of the campaign, Ola Electric has introduced limited-period benefits worth more than ₹20,000 for customers purchasing a new electric two-wheeler. The offer applies to buyers of the Ola S1 scooter and the Ola Roadster. The promotional benefits are available for three days until March 16, 2026.
The incentives include a ₹10,000 cash discount along with an extended eight-year battery warranty valued at up to ₹15,000. According to the company, the benefits are designed to provide both immediate savings and long-term reliability for customers transitioning to electric vehicles.
In addition to the purchase incentives, the company has launched a social media initiative under the same #EndICEAge campaign. Customers who buy an Ola Electric two-wheeler between now and March 16 are invited to share their transition from petrol-powered vehicles to electric mobility on social media.
Participants can upload their petrol bills from the previous month on platforms such as Instagram or X, tag Ola Electric and use the hashtag #EndICEAge. Each day, the company will select three standout posts and reimburse the petrol expenses reflected in those bills by adjusting the amount against the customer’s vehicle payment.
A company spokesperson said the campaign aims to challenge India’s long-standing dependence on petrol. For decades, riders have faced rising fuel prices, frequent visits to petrol pumps and a transportation system built on traditional combustion technology. The spokesperson said the initiative is meant to encourage riders to break away from this cycle and switch to electric mobility.
The company added that its S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles provide a cleaner, smarter and more economical commuting option compared with petrol-powered vehicles.
Recently, Ola Electric also introduced a special Champions Edition of its flagship models powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell. The limited edition versions include the Ola S1 Pro+ with a 5.2 kWh battery and the Ola Roadster X+ with a 9.1 kWh battery.
The Champions Edition was launched to commemorate India’s third victory in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. These limited models will be available through Ola Electric stores and the company’s website starting tomorrow and will remain on sale until the end of April 2026.
