Gulfood 2026 will feature Indian startups' agricultural products
India Showcases Startups and Food Products at Gulfood 2026 in Dubai
Eight selected Indian startups will represent India at Gulfood 2026, one of the world’s largest food and beverage exhibitions, to be held in Dubai from January 26 to 30. These startups were chosen from over 100 applicants through a national-level selection process.
The startups will present innovative products, technology-based solutions, and export-focused ideas, supporting the government’s “Farm to Foreign” vision.
India’s participation is being led by APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
A major attraction is the BHARATI Pavilion, APEDA’s special initiative to promote export-ready agri-food and agri-tech startups. This pavilion is located in the Startup Zone at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Indian Pavilion also includes a Culinary Area, where a famous chef will give live cooking demonstrations of Indian dishes. This zone will showcase India’s rich food culture, regional flavours, and the versatility of Indian ingredients to attract international buyers.
India’s total exhibition space at Gulfood 2026 is 1,434 square metres, which is double last year’s size.
There will be 161 Indian exhibitors, displaying products such as:
-
Processed foods
-
Fresh and frozen products
-
Pulses, grains, and cereals
-
Beverages
-
Value-added food products
-
Agri-export startups
This strong presence highlights India’s growing role in the global food and agri-export market. ???
