ETtech Deals Digest: This week, startups raised $157 million, a 32% decrease from the previous year

Indian startups raised about $157.3 million between February 28 and March 6, according to data from Tracxn. This amount is 32.2% lower than the $231.9 million raised during the same week last year. Compared with the $152.2 million raised in the previous week of 2026, funding increased slightly by around 3.3% week-on-week.

Investment activity also slowed. Only 23 funding deals were recorded during the week, significantly lower than the 50 deals completed during the same period last year, indicating a drop in the number of transactions even though total funding remained relatively stable week to week.

Among the largest deals, rural commerce startup Rozana secured $30 million in funding led by existing investors Bertelsmann India Investments and Fireside Ventures.

Electric mobility startup Zeno raised $25 million through a mix of equity and debt financing. The equity round was led by Congruent Ventures, while debt financing was provided by Trifecta Capital and Camber Road.

Home services startup Pronto also raised $25 million, with the round led by Epiq Capital and participation from existing investors including Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst, and Bain Capital Ventures.
