Accenture and OpenAI collaborate to provide ChatGPT to thousands of employees.

Accenture is set to provide tens of thousands of its technology employees with access to ChatGPT Enterprise as part of a new collaboration with OpenAI, aiming to tap into rising enterprise demand for artificial intelligence solutions. Following the announcement, Accenture’s stock climbed more than 2.8% in premarket trading.

As part of the partnership, both companies will roll out a new AI initiative designed to help businesses across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and retail integrate AI-driven workflows into their operations.

Amid uncertain government spending and a challenging economic climate, Accenture is intensifying its focus on AI adoption as a way to attract corporate clients. This comes alongside an $865 million restructuring effort, launched in September, aimed at reshaping its workforce, lowering costs, and boosting operational efficiency.

The rapid evolution of AI tools has also sparked discussions about their potential effect on the consulting industry’s massive global talent pool, as advanced systems are increasingly capable of analyzing data and generating content at high speed and accuracy.

Accenture stated that its teams will deploy ChatGPT Enterprise for both internal tasks and client-facing projects, while also accelerating AI training and skill development across the organization.
